PMAFA KARATE TEACHES SAFETY AND PROTECTS KIDS FOR HALLOWEEN
Bring Kids Back Home: Trick or Treat Safety Tips and Anti-abduction
Drills that Parents Love
Safety for
children has always been a top priority for parents, even more so during
the upcoming Halloween weekend. When a child leaves home for
school, recreation, or to trick or treat in the neighborhood on
Halloween, the risk of getting bullied, lost, injured, or abducted
increases. The only option a parent has is to prepare for the
worst and hope for the best. Are your kids empowered with options
for an unforeseen break-in at home or being locked out? How about
a stranger at the door or a suspicious driver? Here comes a person
dressed as Sponge Bob with a trick or treat bag following your child,
but could he or she be a foe in disguise, someone that you don’t know?
During this
holiday season, the opportunity presents for the stalker or bully to
prey upon weak and naïve children. PMAFA (Pure Martial Arts
Fitness Academy) Karate, a full service martial art school located at
the Shoprite Shopping center in Derby, CT, 49 Pershing Dr. and 2338 Main
St. in Bridgeport, CT will teach, empower, and prepare children and
their parents.
The clinic is free
and is offered at 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, Wednesday, Oct. 27 and
Friday, Oct. 29 at the Derby location and Tuesday, Oct. 26 and Thursday,
Oct 28 at the Bridgeport location during the week prior to the Trick or
Treat weekend, and it will empower children to make the right choices.
Now when a child leaves home they can possess the knowledge and options
to return home safely. The free sessions will be 60 minutes in
duration and will include light exercise, trick or treat safety
questions and answers, anti-abduction drills and basic self-defense.
END
Please call to register your child. The first
50 registered will receive a free Dunkin Donuts trick or treat bag.
Come in a costume and win 1 free month for Best Costume. Contact
